About these Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Camellia Massage website and any enquiries, bookings, purchases or services arranged through it. By using the website, submitting an enquiry, making a booking or purchasing a service or gift-related offering, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with them, you should not use the website or book services. These Terms should be read alongside the Privacy Policy and any booking or cancellation information displayed on the website.

About Camellia Massage

Camellia Massage provides massage therapy services focused on women, including Relaxing Massage, Express Back Massage, The Gift of Relaxation and Sports Massage. Services are offered in South East London, including London Bridge, Greenwich and Brockley, subject to availability. Any descriptions of services, locations, introductory offers, package deals or pricing on the website are for general information and may be updated from time to time.

Use of the Website

You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not use the website in any way that is fraudulent, misleading, abusive, defamatory, harmful, or likely to interfere with the website’s operation or other users’ access. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, its hosting, connected systems or booking functionality.

Eligibility and Client Responsibility

By booking a service, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. You are responsible for informing Camellia Massage before your appointment of any medical condition, injury, allergy, pregnancy, medication, recent surgery, or other health matter that may affect treatment. Massage therapy may not be appropriate in every circumstance. Camellia Massage reserves the right to decline, postpone or modify treatment where it is considered unsuitable, unsafe or outside the therapist’s professional scope of practice.

Services and Professional Scope

All treatments are provided with reasonable care and skill. Treatment outcomes can vary between individuals, and no guarantee is given that any massage service will achieve a particular physical, medical, therapeutic or emotional result. Information on the website is provided for general information only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. You should seek advice from a GP or other qualified healthcare professional where appropriate.

Bookings

Bookings may be made through the website, contact form, WhatsApp, email, phone or any other method stated on the website. A booking is only confirmed once you receive confirmation from Camellia Massage. Camellia Massage may refuse or cancel a booking where necessary, including where there is an obvious pricing error, lack of availability, safety concern, suspected misuse of the service, or incomplete information required to provide treatment.

Prices and Payment

Prices displayed on the website are in pounds sterling and may be updated at any time. The price applicable to your booking will be the price confirmed at the time your booking is accepted, unless there is an obvious error. Payment terms, including whether payment is taken online, in advance, in person, by deposit or by gift voucher redemption, will be stated during the booking process or in direct communications with you. Promotional offers, introductory discounts and package deals are subject to availability and may be changed or withdrawn at any time unless already confirmed for an accepted booking.

Cancellation, Rescheduling and No-Shows

You are asked to provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Camellia Massage may apply a cancellation or no-show policy where this is stated on the website, in booking confirmations or in direct communication before the appointment. Where prepaid bookings, deposits, packages or gift-related purchases are involved, refunds, credits or transfers will be handled in accordance with the applicable booking terms communicated at the time of purchase. Camellia Massage may cancel or rearrange appointments where necessary because of illness, emergency, venue issues or other circumstances beyond reasonable control, and in such cases will aim to offer a rebooking or other reasonable remedy.

Full payment is required at least 24 hours in advance to secure your booking and room. If a booking is cancelled or changed less than 24 hours before the appointment time, a £20 fee will be retained to cover room rental costs, and any remaining balance will be refunded where applicable.

Gift Vouchers and Gift Services

Where gift vouchers, gift cards or gift treatment options are offered, they are subject to any specific terms stated on the website or at the point of purchase, including expiry dates, redemption conditions, booking requirements and whether they are refundable or transferable. Unless stated otherwise, gift vouchers are for the stated value or service only and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Arrival and Appointment Conduct

You are responsible for arriving on time and following any pre-appointment instructions. Late arrival may reduce your treatment time where required to avoid disruption to later bookings, and the full appointment fee may still apply. Camellia Massage reserves the right to end or refuse an appointment where behaviour is inappropriate, abusive, threatening, unsafe, or inconsistent with a professional therapeutic setting.

Health and Safety

You must follow all reasonable health, hygiene and safety requests made by Camellia Massage or the treatment venue. Camellia Massage may refuse treatment where there are reasonable concerns relating to hygiene, illness, intoxication, contraindications, safeguarding or general safety.

Website Content and Intellectual Property

All content on the website, including text, branding, logos, layout, images, graphics and original written material, is owned by or licensed to Camellia Massage unless otherwise stated. You may view the website for personal and non-commercial use only. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, modify, distribute or exploit website content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

Third-Party Platforms and Links

The website may use or link to third-party tools and services, including analytics tools, maps, social media, WhatsApp or other external platforms. Camellia Massage is not responsible for the content, availability, security or privacy practices of third-party websites or services. Your use of those third-party services may also be governed by their own terms and policies.

Accuracy of Website Information

Camellia Massage takes reasonable care to ensure that information on the website is accurate and up to date. However, no guarantee is given that all content is complete, current or free from error at all times. Service descriptions, pricing, availability, therapist details, offers and location information may change without notice.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

Subject to the paragraph above, Camellia Massage shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss of data, or any loss arising from your use of the website, reliance on website content, booking unavailability, third-party platform failures, or treatment outcomes that differ from your expectations. To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability in connection with any service or booking shall be limited to the amount paid by you for that service or booking.

Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Where services are booked online or at a distance, your legal rights may depend on the nature of the booking, the timing of the appointment and the applicable consumer law position relating to services for a specific date or period.

Privacy and Data Protection

Camellia Massage processes personal data in accordance with applicable UK data protection law. Details about what information is collected, how it is used, how long it is retained and your rights are set out in the Privacy Policy below. Under UK GDPR, privacy information should explain the identity of the organisation, purposes of processing, lawful basis, retention, sharing and individuals’ rights, and organisations must present this information clearly and transparently.

Cookies and Tracking

The website may use cookies or similar technologies for functionality, analytics, performance, booking services and user experience. Where required, Camellia Massage will request consent before using non-essential cookies or similar technologies. ICO guidance states that PECR applies to cookies and similar technologies, that clear and comprehensive information must be given, and that PECR works alongside the UK GDPR standard of consent.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about the website, a booking or a service, you should contact Camellia Massage using the contact details above. Complaints will be reviewed and responded to within a reasonable period. Camellia Massage will aim to resolve concerns fairly and professionally.

Changes to these Terms

Camellia Massage may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the business, services, website functionality or legal requirements. The latest version will be posted on the website with the revised “Last updated” date. By continuing to use the website or book services after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, the website or any booking shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law allows you to bring a claim in another part of the United Kingdom.
